STAIRLIFT REPAIRS
When your stairlift stops behaving normally
A stairlift that stops unexpectedly, moves differently, makes unusual noises or shows a fault should be checked rather than repeatedly reset or forced to operate.
Tell us what is happening and our stairlift team can arrange the appropriate next step, from diagnosis through to repair.
COMMON FAULTS
What might need attention?
Batteries & Charging
Battery deterioration, charging problems or a stairlift that no longer holds charge properly.
Controls & Sensors
Problems with the arm controls, remotes, safety sensors or other operating controls.
Rail & Drive System
Unusual movement, noise or faults involving the rail, motor or drive system.
Seat & Safety Components
Issues affecting the swivel seat, footrest, seatbelt or other safety-related components.
REPAIR COSTS
We assess before carrying out additional work
The final cost of a repair depends on the fault, stairlift model, parts required and the amount of work involved.
Some more complex or less common stairlifts may require additional time or specialist parts. Where possible, we use genuine manufacturer components and will explain the expected cost before carrying out chargeable repair work.
