Prepared for its next home
Before a reconditioned stairlift is installed, it is inspected and prepared by our stairlift team. Mechanical and electrical components are checked, the lift is cleaned and serviced, and worn parts are replaced where required. The stairlift is then tested to make sure its controls, safety systems and travelling mechanism are operating correctly before it is fitted in your home.

The HomeGlide is one of the main models available through our reconditioned range. Its slim aluminium rail and compact folding chair make it suitable for a wide range of homes, while battery operation and built-in safety systems provide the same practical features expected from a modern stairlift.
Because reconditioned stairlifts depend on available stock, exact models, colours and powered options can vary. We will confirm what is currently available after assessing your staircase.

Where a doorway or walkway is close to the bottom of the staircase, suitable reconditioned models may be available with a folding rail.

Choosing a reconditioned stairlift does not remove the need for a proper assessment. We begin with a free home survey to measure the staircase, check the available space and establish which reconditioned models are suitable.
Once we know what your staircase requires, we can check our available stock and provide a quotation for an appropriate stairlift.
Straight stairlifts can usually be installed within a day with minimal disruption.
