Platform Lifts

Platform lifts provide step-free access across short changes in level, making them particularly useful for wheelchair users and for entrances where a traditional stairlift is not suitable. Bush Healthcare supplies and installs Pollock step lifts for indoor and outdoor use across South Wales.

POLLOCK STEP LIFTS

Built for short changes in level

Step lifts move a wheelchair user or standing passenger vertically between two levels, without following the line of the stairs. They are well suited to porches, entrances, patios, short flights of steps and other areas where only a limited rise needs to be overcome.

Depending on the model, Pollock step lifts can cover rises from around one metre up to three metres.

Classic 1m Steplift

A straightforward, cost-conscious option for smaller changes in level up to around one metre.

Classic 2m Steplift

A higher-travel step lift for changes in level of up to around two metres.

Independence 3m Series 65

Designed for larger changes in level, with travel of up to three metres where a shorter step lift is not enough.

Platform lifts need to be planned around more than the lift itself. We look at the rise between levels, platform position, access at the top and bottom, surrounding ground and the space needed for a wheelchair or mobility aid.
