Handybar

The HandyBar is a compact and reliable everyday living aid designed to make getting in and out of a vehicle safer and easier for individuals with reduced mobility, balance concerns, or limited strength. It provides a stable support point, helping to reduce the risk of falls, strain, or twisting during car transfers.

Manufactured with a super-strong forged steel shaft, the HandyBar supports users weighing up to 25 stone. The ergonomic, non-slip rubberised handle is shaped to guide the hand naturally into the correct position, providing excellent grip and leverage when standing up or lowering into a seat.

Designed for universal compatibility, the HandyBar fits 99% of vehicles by slotting securely into the U-shaped door striker, the most common design found on modern cars. It can be used on both driver and passenger side doors and is lightweight enough to be carried easily in a handbag, glove box, or door pocket.

In addition to assisting with transfers, the HandyBar also functions as an emergency safety tool, incorporating a built-in window breaker and seatbelt cutter to allow rapid exit from a vehicle if required.

For a complete car mobility solution, the HandyBar can be paired with a swivel cushion, enabling smooth rotation in the seat while using the HandyBar as a stable lever for standing or sitting.
